Humanities
Our Humanities program incorporates all relevant areas of the Victorian Curriculum, including History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, and Science, with learning tailored to students' developmental levels. The program also integrates the Victorian Curriculum Capabilities, including Critical and Creative Thinking, Ethical Capability, Intercultural Capability, and Personal and Social Capability.
Humanities is taught through both stand-alone lessons and integrated learning experiences across the curriculum. Our units provide students with opportunities to explore the processes that shape our world, examining the connections between people, communities, and the environment. Through engaging topics students develop their ability to ask meaningful questions, plan and conduct investigations, interpret evidence, construct explanations and arguments, and communicate their findings with confidence.
