Parents and guardians, grandparents and the wider community are actively involved in our school in a variety of ways. Their assistance is greatly appreciated by all staff and students. The following is just some of the areas parents are involved in:
Family members are invited to be a Literacy Coach and take small groups or one-on-one literacy lessons. Training is provided. These sessions are a great opportunity to share in students' learning.
Excursions and sporting events
Family members are always welcome to come along on excursions and guide small groups of students. Please see the class teacher to express your interest.
Family members are invited to participate in working bees. It's a wonderful day with morning tea and lunch provided and a terrific chance to network with other parents. Students are welcome to bring bikes and scooters and have loads of fun.
School assembly is every second Friday afternoon @ 2.45pm in the multi purpose room and all family members and friends are invited to join us.
The fundraising committee organises a range of fundraising events throughout the year.
The school productions are a fabulous way to build confidence and any assistance you can provide is always welcomed. Please see the class teacher to express your interest.
The school council is responsible for managing the school in a variety of areas. Council meets monthly and considers a range of matters impacting on the operation of the school. The Council consists of parent and teacher representatives, and includes the following sub committees: Finance, Education, Facilities, Preschool and Community Relations.
