Students at Menzies Creek Primary School participate in Japanese once a week.

In 2007 our Japanese teacher was Daisuke, but unfortunately he has moved back to Japan and we now have a fabulous new Japanese teacher named Masami.

In 2007 students particpated in Japanese Day. Students throughout

the school were divided into multi-age groups, an each was

lead by a Japanese visitor. Groups rotaed through activites such as

Japanese calligraphy, origami, paper doll making, and a Japanese quiz.

This wonderful day ended with 'Dai's Special Dance Show!'.
